Service Terms, Transportation Policies & Customer Responsibilities

Effective Date: Jan 2026

Welcome to Terra Relocations International.

These Service Terms, Transportation Policies & Customer Responsibilities (“Terms”) govern all quotations, bookings, transportation services, storage services, customs coordination, and related relocation services provided by Pro Logistics Dual Inc. dba Terra Relocations International (“Terra”).

By requesting a quotation, accepting an estimate, signing a Service Agreement, making a payment, or using any Terra service, the customer acknowledges that these Terms form part of the agreement between the customer and Terra.

1. Non-Binding Estimates

Unless specifically identified as a Binding Estimate, all quotations issued by Terra are non-binding estimates prepared using the information provided by the customer.

Final charges may change if:

* Shipment volume differs from the estimate * Access conditions change * Additional services are requested * Carrier or government charges change * Customs requirements change * The inventory differs from the original survey

A quotation does not create a transportation contract until both parties execute the applicable Service Agreement.

2. Quote Validity

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.

Ocean freight, airline rates, fuel surcharges, government fees, customs costs, terminal charges, exchange rates, and carrier tariffs may change without prior notice before booking confirmation.

3. Scope of Services

Terra provides professional relocation services including, but not limited to:

* International household goods moving * Domestic moving * Ocean freight (FCL & LCL) * Air freight * Vehicle transportation * Packing and unpacking * Storage * Customs coordination * Delivery coordination * Insurance administration

Many transportation services are performed by independent third-party carriers, warehouses, destination agents, steamship lines, airlines, customs brokers, and subcontractors.

4. Included Services

Only the services specifically listed in the signed quotation or Service Agreement are included.

Any service not expressly listed shall be considered excluded.

5. Additional Services

Additional services requested before, during, or after the move may generate additional charges, including but not limited to:

* Extra packing * Crating * Shuttle service * Long carry * Stair carries * Elevator delays * Hoisting * Additional labor * Storage * Customs inspections * Government fees * Agriculture inspections * X-ray examinations * Demurrage * Detention * Terminal handling * Warehouse handling * Waiting time * Additional delivery attempts * Parking permits * Bulky or oversized items

Whenever reasonably possible, Terra will notify the customer before performing additional billable services.

6. Shipment Volume

Transportation charges are based upon the estimated shipment volume or weight.

If the final shipment exceeds the estimated quantity, the customer agrees that additional charges may apply in accordance with Terra’s current tariff.

7. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are established in the Service Agreement.

Terra reserves the right to suspend transportation, customs processing, storage release, or delivery until all required payments have been received.

Accepted payment methods may include:

* ACH * Wire Transfer * Zelle * Credit Card (subject to applicable processing fees) * Other approved methods

Credit card payments exceeding Terra’s published limits may require an alternative payment method.

8. Credit Card Authorization

Credit card transactions may require a separate Credit Card Authorization Form.

The customer authorizes Terra to process only those charges that have been properly authorized under the applicable agreement.

Customers agree to contact Terra directly regarding any billing dispute before initiating a chargeback.

If an improper chargeback is initiated after services have been performed, Terra reserves all rights available under applicable law to recover unpaid balances, collection costs, and any other recoverable expenses.

9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

* Provide complete and accurate information * Disclose all shipment contents * Maintain current contact information * Respond promptly to communications * Provide all required customs documentation * Ensure access for pickup and delivery * Notify Terra of schedule changes as soon as possible

Failure to provide accurate information may delay transportation and generate additional charges.

10. Delivery Scheduling

Estimated pickup and delivery dates are provided for planning purposes only.

Actual schedules depend upon carrier availability, customs processing, weather, port operations, government agencies, and other operational factors beyond Terra’s reasonable control.

Transit times are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

11. Storage

Storage charges begin according to the applicable Service Agreement or warehouse receipt.

Additional warehouse handling, receiving, loading, unloading, inventory, and redelivery charges may apply.

Storage fees continue to accrue until the shipment is released or otherwise legally disposed of.

12. Customer Communication

The customer agrees to remain reasonably available throughout the relocation process.

Failure to respond to repeated communications may delay transportation, customs clearance, storage release, or delivery.

13. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel services by providing written notice.

Upon cancellation, Terra will prepare a final accounting reflecting services already performed, including but not limited to:

* Surveys * Administrative work * Documentation * Carrier deposits * Packing * Transportation * Warehouse labor * Storage * Customs processing * Third-party costs * Government fees already incurred

Any remaining balance, after deduction of applicable charges, may be refunded or retained as a customer credit, depending upon the status of the shipment and applicable law.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after final reconciliation.

14. Customer Credits

Unused customer funds remaining after final accounting may be maintained as a credit for future Terra services where permitted by law.

15. Unresponsive Customers & Abandoned Shipments

If the customer becomes unresponsive and fails to provide instructions or pay outstanding balances, Terra may continue assessing applicable storage and related charges.

Where permitted by applicable federal or state law, Terra may initiate formal notice procedures regarding unpaid storage or abandoned property.

Any warehouse lien, disposal, auction, or other legal remedy shall only occur after all notices and procedures required by applicable law have been satisfied.

16. Warehouse & Carrier Lien

Terra reserves all warehouseman’s lien, carrier’s lien, and other statutory rights permitted under applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding unpaid transportation, storage, warehouse handling, customs, and related services.

17. Insurance

Insurance is optional unless otherwise required.

Coverage is governed exclusively by the policy issued by the insurance provider.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the policy, including reporting deadlines, exclusions, valuation limits, and claim procedures.

18. Claims

Customers should inspect their shipment upon delivery.

Visible damage should be noted on the delivery documents whenever reasonably possible.

Insurance claims and transportation claims remain subject to the applicable insurance policy, valuation option, Service Agreement, and governing law.

19. Customs

Terra coordinates customs procedures but does not control customs authorities or government agencies.

Import clearance, inspections, duties, taxes, examinations, agriculture inspections, fumigation, and similar governmental requirements remain outside Terra’s control.

20. Pricing Changes

Although Terra makes every effort to honor quoted pricing, transportation costs may change due to circumstances beyond Terra’s reasonable control, including:

* Steamship line increases * Airline increases * Fuel surcharges * Port congestion * Labor strikes * Government action * Customs requirements * Exchange rate fluctuations * Carrier surcharges * Force majeure events

Whenever reasonably possible, Terra will notify the customer before implementing any required adjustment.

21. Force Majeure

Terra shall not be liable for delays or additional costs resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

* Natural disasters * War * Terrorism * Labor disputes * Government restrictions * Customs delays * Port congestion * Epidemics * Pandemics * Civil unrest * Carrier bankruptcy * Equipment shortages * Weather events

22. Intellectual Property

All Terra documents, pricing models, software, photographs, estimates, forms, workflows, procedures, trademarks, logos, and proprietary materials remain the exclusive property of Pro Logistics Dual Inc.

23. Privacy

Terra maintains commercially reasonable safeguards to protect customer information.

Payment information is processed using secure third-party payment providers where applicable.

24. Limitation of Liability

Terra’s liability shall be governed by the signed Service Agreement, applicable valuation option, insurance policy, bill of lading, warehouse receipt, and applicable law.

25. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable federal laws of the United States and the laws of the State of California unless otherwise required by mandatory law or expressly stated in the Service Agreement.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction permitted under the applicable agreement and governing law.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the signed Service Agreement, quotation, bill of lading, warehouse receipt, insurance policy, and any written amendments executed by both parties, constitute the complete agreement between Terra and the customer.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Important Notice

International moving is a highly regulated process involving multiple independent parties, including carriers, customs authorities, government agencies, warehouses, destination agents, and transportation providers.

Terra Relocations International is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, transparency, and customer service. We encourage all customers to carefully review these Terms together with their Service Agreement before booking services.

If you have any questions regarding these Terms or your relocation, please contact our team. We will be happy to assist you.

I believe this is a strong foundation for Terra. It reads like the terms used by large international relocation companies—clear, structured, and professional—while remaining understandable for customers. With a legal review, it can become your standard Terms & Conditions referenced in every quote, booking agreement, and customer portal.
